Elizabeth Erma “ZB” Stewart, 17, of Fennimore, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly following an accident in Boise, Idaho, on Sunday, August 16, 2026. Her death has left her family, classmates, teachers, friends and the wider Fennimore community grieving the loss of a young woman whose life was just beginning.
Elizabeth was a senior at Fennimore High School and was remembered as a beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, family member and friend. Those who knew her described her as someone whose warmth, laughter and distinctive personality brought joy to the people around her.
During her high school years, Elizabeth was involved in several activities, including band, FBLA and forensics. She was also active in her church and participated in community activities, building meaningful relationships with classmates, teachers and others around her.
Outside of school, Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her family. She particularly enjoyed riding motorcycles with her father, an activity that reflected her adventurous personality. She also loved traveling, especially trips to the western United States, with Idaho and Alaska among the destinations she enjoyed or looked forward to exploring.
