Jennifer H. Gonzalez, 55, of Wilmette, Illinois, passed away on August 18, 2026. Born April 9, 1971, in Knoxville, Tennessee, Jennifer was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend whose life was defined by family, professional dedication, public service and compassion.
Jennifer was the beloved wife of Dr. Chris M. Gonzalez and the devoted mother of five children, Michael, Caroline, Jake, Claire and Nick. Her family was at the center of her life, and she cherished the time she spent with her husband and children. She is also survived by her brother, Steve Hall, sister-in-law Lisa Gonzalez, mother-in-law Bernice Wood, and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan Graham Hall and Beulah Mae Hall.
Jennifer built an accomplished career in law after earning a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Iowa in 1993 and her J.D. from John Marshall Law School in 1996.
